Welect @OMR 2023

Wow, what an event! Since 2018, the OMR Festival has been an absolute must for the digital marketing industry, and Welect was right in the middle of it! And what can we say! We are still overwhelmed by the countless impressions. FOMO is real!!!

Over 70,000 visitors, more than 500 exhibitors, over 700 speakers, masterclasses and concerts with KIZ and Macklemore, as well as spectacular performances by Luisa Neubauer, Ronnie Fieg and Serena Williams.

Our sales team was also on site. Our Tuesday started right away with our masterclass Choice-Driven-Advertising: Always cookieless and now shoppable, which was a complete success!

We received almost 500 registrations, but had to limit it to 260 in advance. It's a shame, but it shows how much interest there is in choice-driven advertising. The masterclass was held by Otto and Daniel. It was about the fusion of cookieless online video and retail media. Two trend topics combined in one masterclass.

The strong relevance of retail media makes it possible to make products accessible to the target group in cookieless online video format via advertising campaigns - with shoppable video ads. 

Immediately afterwards, we had many interesting conversations with interested participants and of course received some insightful questions.

Encounters in the crowd - meeting every single one!

We used the rest of the afternoon to talk to visitors from renowned agencies, media houses, publishers and well-known brands at the exhibition centre. 

In addition to the previously planned conversations with potential and long-standing partners, many spontaneous visitors also showed great interest in our work. The main focus was on our Choice-Driven Ads, which are cookieless and highly effective, while also causing fewer CO2 emissions than normal online ads.

As we all know, after the trade fair is before the trade fair and we are already looking forward to DMEXCO in September. See you there.
